Weeks 18, 19, 20, 21 Bariatric 214 to 203

Summary: Jan 10 to Feb 01, 2026

Progress Snapshot

From January 11 to February 01, 2026, I continued a steady march toward my goal weight of 175 lbs, dropping from 214 lbs to 203 lbs.

That’s a total loss of 11 lbs in just 16 days, averaging ~0.687 lbs per day—right in line with my overall pace since starting this journey in September 2025. Since Sept 14 it has been 138 days and I have lost 68 lbs which is .52 per day on average.

Body composition improvements during this window:

  • BMI: 28.1 ↓ (from 37.4)
  • Body fat: 23.5% ↓ (from 60%)
  • Muscle mass: 36.7% ↑ (from 28.9%)

Glucose control remains excellent, averaging ~104 mg/dL with 99% time in range. Occasional mild spikes resolve quickly.

Physically, I feel sharp, pain-free, and energized. My belt size is down 7 inches in roughly 2.5 months.

Daily Medications vs. Supplements

For clarity and transparency, I separate doctor-prescribed / medically supervised substances from over-the-counter vitamins and supplements. Everything listed reflects my current protocol unless otherwise noted.

Doctor-Prescribed / Medically Supervised (Daily)

  • Finasteride – 5 mg
Prostate size reduction and long-term symptom control
  • Tamsulosin – 8 mg
Urinary flow support (typically taken at night)
  • Alfuzosin – 10 mg
Alternate alpha-blocker for prostate symptoms (used as needed)
  • Anastrozole – 0.5 mg
Estrogen control as part of TRT optimization
  • T2 → T3 Thyroid Support
    Metabolic and thyroid conversion support
  • Clenbuterol-style Thermogenic
    Fat-loss and metabolic acceleration
  • Ozempic – 1 mg (weekly administered. Medically supervised prescription)
    Appetite suppression and glucose regulation
  • Testosterone Cypionate 125 mg per week (medically supervised prescription)
Testosterone measured 144 Sept 27, 2025 so I went to Advanced Urology and got a doctor to give me TRT. Went to 1550 total with 450 free. Plan to bring that down to 900 after I hit 175 lbs.

Over-the-Counter Vitamins & Supplements (Daily)

  • Creatine Monohydrate – 20 g total daily
Muscle preservation, strength, and metabolic support
  • Potassium – 792 mg
  • Taurine – 1,000 mg
  • Magnesium Glycinate – 200–400 mg
  • Multivitamin with Probiotics
  • Ceylon Cinnamon – 1,200 mg
  • Cinnamon + Chromium Complex – 2,000 mg
  • Berberine – 400 mg
  • Maca Root – 1,500–3,000 mg
  • Glucomannan Fiber – 1,500 mg
  • Gymnema Sylvestre – 400 mg
  • Pumpkin Seed Oil + Saw Palmetto
  • Saw Palmetto (additional formulation) – 1,000–1,500 mg
  • Prostate Support Blend (multi-ingredient)

Meal Macros Overview

Based on MyNetDiary 7-day averages, my nutrition strategy emphasizes high protein, low carbohydrates, and tightly controlled calories, keeping me in a deep deficit while protecting lean mass.

Week of January 5–11, 2026

  • Average calories: 902/day
  • Carbs: 33 g
  • Fat: 62 g
  • Protein: 93 g
  • Weekly total: 6,314 calories

Week of January 19–25, 2026

  • Average calories: 981/day
  • Carbs: 44 g
  • Fat: 49 g
  • Protein: 96 g
  • Weekly total: 6,867 calories

Occasional higher-carb days (50–99 g) are offset by zero-carb meals such as tilapia, chicken, and cheese. Protein intake remains consistent to preserve muscle.

What’s Next

At my current pace (~0.5–0.6 lbs/day), I’m on track to reach 175 lbs by mid-March 2026. From 202.8 lbs, that’s roughly 27.8 lbs to go.

Once I reach that milestone, the plan is to simplify and stabilize:

  • Gradually taper off Ozempic
  • Discontinue clen/T3
  • Reduce TRT toward a sustainable ~900 ng/dL
  • Transition to maintenance calories (2,200–2,500/day)
  • Continue resistance training and prostate support

Projected outcomes by late March:

  • BMI: ~23 (normal range)
  • Body fat: 10–12%
  • Muscle mass: 37%+
  • Blood pressure: holding ~129/82
  • Monitoring: PSA, BP, glucose checked quarterly

This journey isn’t just about losing 97.5 pounds.

It’s about building sustainable vitality at 58 — strength, clarity, metabolic health, and quality of life that lasts.
